Every Corporate Sponsorship Program is tailor designed to meet the Company’s community outreach objectives as they relate to the specific needs of the schools in their area. American Reading Company and the Children’s Literacy Initiative work together with schools and districts to identify resource needs and present options to businesses on how they might participate:
Duration. Companies may elect to serve as a one-time Sponsor or to establish ongoing Partnerships with a school(s) or district(s) for one or more years.
Contribution. Companies may elect to sponsor select classrooms, schools and/or entire school districts. The contribution level depends entirely on the Company’s financial and community outreach objectives.
Branding. Companies may elect to brand programmatic materials with a logo or partnership insignia. These materials include reading award medals, reading folders and book bags which travel to/from schools with students each day.
Volunteerism. Companies may elect to engage their own employees to serve as reading coaches with designated visiting hours at local schools.
